Mary Mary Varga
died March 31, 2004, at home. She was 93. Born in Hungary, daughter of the
Michael and Mary Lucas, she lived in Highland Park before moving to Holland
Township 7 years ago. She attended Phillipsburg Alliance Church in
Phillipsburg. She was a member of the Flemington Senior Center. She enjoyed
gardening, cooking and reading. Her husband, Stephen, died previously.
Surviving are a son, Richard of Holland Township; a daughter, Joan Clark of
East Brunswick; a brother, William Lucas of Ohio; 2 sisters, Julia Johnson of
South Carolina and Jenny Johnson of Ohio; 6 grandchildren; and 16
great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held Monday at W.E. Johnson
Funeral Home, Holland Township. Interment was at Franklin Memorial Park,
North Brunswick. Memorial contributions can be made to American Cancer
