Elder, James M.

Funeral services of James M. Elder were held in Columbus Tuesday.  He is survived by two sisters and two brothers.  He was a son of Mr. and Mrs. D. R. Elder, deceased, formerly of this place.

Ewing, Albert

Albert Ewing, aged 59 years, following 10 days illness, died in a hospital in Cincinnati, last Friday evening.  His body was brought here Tuesday morning and interment was made in the Shawnee Cemetery.  The deceased was a former Shawnee boy and many years ago conducted a barber shop here.  He is survived by his wife, four sons, Harry, Fred, Edmund and Willard, three daughters, Lucille, Edith and Esther, two brothers, Walter and Howard and one sister Mrs. Thomas Knox of this place.  Relatives and friends in attendance at the funeral were:  Howard Ewing and family and Robert Ewing and family of Benton, Ill., Walter Ewing and family of Zanesville, Emmet Clayton and family of Fultonham, Mr. and Mrs. Orlando Clayton and Mrs. Mary Roberts of Byesville and Mrs. Bertha Springer of Crooksville.
